From Salzburg city: Take bus number 151 from Mirabellplatz to Gaisberg. The bus runs frequently and costs about €3.40 per person. Use Google Maps to confirm the latest schedule.

After landing: Flights usually land near the church in Guggenthal or at Camping Aigen. From both locations you can easily catch a bus back to town or take a taxi, which takes about 10 minutes.

Full description

Your tandem paragliding adventure in Salzburg begins high above the city on the 1,288 meter Mt. Gaisberg. After a short journey from the city center, you will meet your certified tandem pilot, receive a safety briefing, and get fitted with comfortable paragliding equipment before walking a few steps into the air.

Once airborne, you will soar over Salzburg's historic skyline, with views of Fortress Hohensalzburg, Kapuzinerberg, and the surrounding mountains and lakes. Your pilot controls takeoff, flight, and landing, so you can relax and enjoy the sensation of gliding quietly through the sky.

During the flight, your pilot may capture high quality photos and videos using an action camera so you can relive the experience later. After a smooth landing near Guggenthal or Camping Aigen, you can receive the media directly on your smartphone or another device if you decide to purchase it.

No prior paragliding experience is needed. Wear weather appropriate clothing, long pants, and form fitting shoes, and plan for about 1.5-2 hours from meeting your pilot to returning to town. This is a memorable way to see Salzburg and the Austrian Alps from a completely new perspective.
